This s’mores espresso martini puts a campfire spin on the traditional cocktail recipe with the addition of a toasted marshmallow syrup. Vanilla vodka and crème de cacao round out the classic s'mores flavors in this impressive cocktail that’s the perfect potency without being too sweet. Garnish the quintessential foamy top with some toasted marshmallows for extra wow!

I can’t stop turning my favorite coffee recipes into cocktails! First my pumpkin spice espresso martini, then a peppermint mocha espresso tini, then a dirty chai espresso martini.

And now this roasty, toasty, marshmallow-y wonder! I can’t be stopped! Should I be stopped?

    Ingredients You’ll Need

    S’mores Espresso Martini Recipe

This is just a brief overview, find detailed instructions in the recipe card below!

Add all the liquids to a cocktail shaker.
    Top with ice.
Shake until shaker is frosted over.
    Strain into prepared serving glass.
    Garnish and enjoy!

Cold Brew Coffee Instead of Espresso for a Martini

Let’s say you don’t have an espresso machine (or two, like me!), but want to make a drink that calls for it. Luckily, there are a few options!

The first would be to mix up some instant espresso. Couldn’t recommend that more!

The second would be to use 2 ounces of strong cold brew coffee. The cocktail may not have that gorgeous foamy top like usual, but it’ll still be delicious. And caffeinated!

    Ounce to Tablespoon Conversions

Pro tip: if you don’t have a cocktail measure, remember that 1 fluid ounce is the equivalent of 2 tablespoons.

Go forth and measure your cocktails!

    Equipment

    • Cocktail shaker or mason jar with lid
    • Cocktail strainer or fine mesh sieve

    • Put lid on shaker (or on jar) and shake espresso martini for 20 – 30 seconds, or until shaker is very cold and “iced over.”
