The Lillet Rosé Martini is a bright and refreshing cocktail that is so unique and so delicious! Made with Lillet, elderflower liqueur, and vodka it is an elegant and delicious cocktail recipe.

This drink isn't my brainchild. Oh no. It's a beloved cocktail served at Bavette's Bar & Boeuf in Chicago. But! I've been drinking it for over a decade. And making it at home for nearly as long, too!
A twist on the classic martini
Before moving away from Chicago, I begged the bartender for the recipe. Miraculously, they obliged. (This is why it pays to be a good tipper.)
So you can rest assured that when you make this Lillet rosé cocktail at home it's just as legit as ordering it at the restaurant's bar!
I also love to enjoy a pumpkin spice espresso martini for a fun take on the standard martini.
Making a cocktail with Lillet wine
This is just a brief overview, find detailed instructions in the recipe card below!
- Add the booze to your cocktail shaker. Or mason jar with leakproof lid.
- Add the citrus juice and simple syrup. I like to use my lavender simple syrup sometimes for even more of a floral taste.
- Shake and strain. The secret to a good martini is properly shaking it so the shaker gets nice and frosted over!

This is my new favourite.
We have a cocktail every Friday (usually just the one) and martini's are not at the top of our list as they can be very sharp with a large alcoholic tang. This is so smooth and bright. Still alcoholic but it slides right past in a very joyful drink.
