    Thursday Things

    1. Apparently, yesterday was National Bundt Cake Day! Can’t believe I was so remiss as to not celebrate. I guess this cake from earlier this week counts, right? And this one from last year!
    2. I updated my recipe page, go check it out!
    3. Finally went and saw Thor: Ragnarok this weekend and ohmygoodness! Easily the best Marvel installment I’ve seen to date (and I’ve seen them all. Multiple times.). It’s hard for me to admit when I have such a soft spot for Cap in my heart.
    4. After having my socks knocked off, I did what I do with any film that I adore. I search and read everything I can about it. All the little points of trivia are so interesting to me. For instance, Ragnarok was 80% improvised dialogue! I couldn’t believe that!
    5. A little girl at work had a notebook at a table the other night. The heading just said “Dogs” and below was a list of all the dogs she knew. She is the hero we need and deserve.
    6. It’s my home town’s Christmas parade tonight! I haven’t been to one in years. I’m so looking forward to it! The lights, the floats, the kids running around. Plus, I’ve never been present for the tree lighting ceremony in the park. I am hoping for a very Stars Hollow-esque experience.
    7. It’s a week early but I’m lifting my moratorium on not listening to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. It only seems fitting in lieu of the parade tonight! What’s one week, anyway?
    8. One of the hardest parts of moving has been finding a new hairstylist. I’m in desperate need of a cut, but I’m hesitant to go to someone new. I adored my stylist in SC. That’s a serious bond, it doesn’t just happen over night, a lot of trust building goes into it.
    9. This weekend I’ll be baking holiday pies with my aunt and grandma and I’m so happy to be close enough to be a part of that tradition now.
    10. Maybe I’m jumping too far ahead – but I’ve started mulling over the new year already. What I want to accomplish, where I want to be, looking ahead at what’s to come. Let’s hope it’s good things.

Ha, I went to see Thor this weekend as well. I won't offer an opinion since you liked it so much. It did have it's moments.

No, please! Tell me what you thought! I'm all for open discourse about superhero movies (JL has some explaining to do, imo).

I just thought it was a little cheesy - but, that’s usually what I think about moat of those superhero films. Just not my bag I guess. It had a good cast though.
