Merry Christmas!

To each and every one of you who has read, commented, liked, followed, subscribed, or interacted with me and my little site in any way. To those of you who have tried my recipes. Bless you. You’re why I do this.
This Christmas, Seth and I will be taking the morning slowly. We will make pancakes, open presents, and get ready for lunch with his side of the family. I’m making my brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic reduction since they went over so well last year. And a batch of these beauties to really wow the family. I’ll be wearing the festive skirt I made out of a tablecloth and possibly red nail polish, too.
Then, we’ll come home, and I’ll finish working on a video for Webster’s Marketplace. It’s nearly done, but I’m a perfectionist.
It’s because I’m a perfectionist that I will be taking some time off from this space. Just through the end of the year. To (attempt to) rest and relax and recharge. To avoid getting anymore rundown than I already am. To look ahead into 2020 and figure out what direction I am moving in. With my business, my site, my life. Intentionally. That is the gift I am giving to myself this year. Merry Christmas to me. And you.
Enjoy the day. And the next. And the rest that the year holds. Look forward to what’s next, appreciate what’s passed, and be grateful for all that’s yet to come.
