    Making homemade chai spice

This is just a brief overview, find detailed measurements in the recipe card below!

    1. Measure out all your spices. I do this into little separate bowls just to keep everything neat and tidy.
    2. Whisk to combine. And to break up any clumps of spices.
    3. Store the spice blend. This will keep in your cupboard for six months!

    Black Pepper in Chai

I looked at quite a few recipes online while making my own spice blend and decided to forgo the freshly ground black pepper in my mix, but if you’d like to have a slightly spicier version, feel free to add 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper.

I haven't Lara, though I know many chai recipes do call for the addition of that. If you use it, let me know how it is!
