    Galentine's Cheeseboard for Three

Originally, this was going to be a sweet and romantic Valentine’s Cheeseboard for Two. But, when I shared what I was making with my two best friends from college they replied with “oohs” and “ahhs” and “I want some of that!”

It was then that I realized that no, this isn’t the perfect plate for a pair, but instead, is the ideal treat for three! Three best friends. Three gal pals. Three galentines.

    Cheeseboard Recipe

What is a galentine, you ask? Put quite simply, a galentine is a girlfriend you love.  A sister you chose. A pal and a confidant, if I can borrow a phrase from one of the greatest television shows of all time.

    Cheeseboard Recipe

Tess and Elise are some of my most favorite galentines. I’m blessed to have many. I know an abundance of amazing women. This Galentine’s Cheeseboard for Three is for all of them. Any of them. For Tess and Elise. For any gal in your life who is supportive and encouraging and smart and strong and funny as all hell. Any gal who loves a good meal and a great picture of a dog.

    Champagne Flutes

Of course, this recipe is just a template. Make it your own! Make it their own. Pick some of your galentine’s favorite cheese and treats. Grab fruit that they like or pair it with a wine they adore. Better yet – make it with them! Because we all know, when women come together there's nothing we can't do.
