Prep your serving glass by rimming it in caramel sauce, if desired. Set aside.
Add in 2 ounces of vodka, 2 ounces freshly brewed espresso, 1 ounce coffee liqueur, and 1 ounce caramel simple syrup to a cocktail shaker, followed by a pinch of flaky salt. Add a generous handful of ice to the shaker.
Put lid on shaker (or on jar) and shake espresso martini for 20 – 30 seconds, or until shaker is very cold and “iced over.”
