Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup water, 2 tablespoon pumpkin puree, 1 ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice, and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar has completely dissolved. About five minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature before storing in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator until ready to use.
