RED WINE VENISON ROAST

INGREDIENTS

You'll need venison roast, beef stock, red wine, seasonings, garlic, herbs, onion, grapeseed oil.

INSTRUCTIONS

Season the roast. I like to do this simply with a blend of kosher salt, black pepper, garlic, and onion powder.

Sear the venison in grapeseed oil then add in beef stock, red wine, garlic, onions, and herbs.

Roast the vension slow and low until it's tender and can fall apart.

INSTRUCTIONS

Reduce the cooking liquids while the meat rests to make the sauce. Slice and serve over mashed potatoes with the sauce drizzled over top!
