    Happy Hump Day!

Boozy Brownie Shakes | via Midwest Nice Blog

We’re halfway through the week! We deserve a drink. And dessert. Together. Forever.

    With ice cream.

Because indulgence shouldn’t just be for the weekend. It should be for good days and great days and Wednesdays.

If you’re not like me and don’t have brownie edges lying around (which can be a blessing and a curse), store bought is fine (Ina Garten’s voice just flew out of my fingertips apparently, oy).

I’ve been on a chocolate kick lately. Which is so odd! For months I wanted nothing to do with the stuff and now I can’t get enough. Chocolate bars, chocolate cakes, chocolate drinks. Gimme, gimme, gimme. It’s weird how tastes change like that. But it works for this milkshake! If you’re not feeling brownies or vanilla ice cream maybe use chocolate chip cookies and some coffee ice cream? Maybe crème de menthe and a scoop of mint chip? Snickerdoodles and Frangelico? The possibilities are endless! So enjoy! I’m going to.

    Boozy Brownie Shakes

(makes 1 shake, can easily be doubled or tripled, I’m not here to judge)

    2 scoops vanilla ice cream

    ½ cup cold whole milk

    1 cup crumbled brownie pieces

    2 tablespoon Irish Crème liquor

    1 tablespoon coffee liquor

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Add more milk or more ice cream until desired consistency is reached.
