It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Time for cookies, that is!
With it being December 1, I figured it was only appropriate to share some of my favorite cookie recipes for your trays, trades, and treat bags.
To start, there’s the classic cutout cookie! Grandma Green’s is the only sugar cookie recipe you’ll ever need.
Vanillekipferl are a mouthful in spelling and in eating. They’re deceptively easy and so stunning.
Thick and chewy molasses cookies taste the way Christmas feels. Does that make sense?
Kolaczki are a traditional Polish cookie from my traditional Polish family. Amen.
Browned Butter Salted Oatmeal cookies are for all the time, but are especially good at the holidays.
Peppermint Pinwheel Meltaways are like a hybrid between butter spritz cookies and those really, really good (even though you hate to admit it) Pilsbury slice and bake holiday ones.
Not Christmas specific, a browned butter chocolate chip cookie is a good change of pace. It’s perfect for those picky people who “don’t like Christmas cookies.”
A more festive version? The cranberry, white chocolate, and orange drop cookies!
Feel like rolling your cookies in powdered sugar? Of course you do! Try Russian Tea Cakes or Chocolate Peppermint Krinkles!
Last but not least – Starlight Sugar Crisps! This is the Christmas cookie to end all Christmas cookies. Really and truly. It just isn’t Christmas without a twist cookie.
I’ve got a few more cookie tricks up my sleeves this year – but for now, this little list should get you started! Happy baking and even happier holidays!
